Ji Chang Wook admitted that he wants to play the character of a doctor in his next drama or movie project. Ji Chang Wook revealed this in his recent interview with Singles Magazine.
The 37-year-old actor said he doesn't want to miss any opportunities that come his way regarding dramas or movies. He wants to continue to challenge himself in the world of acting.
Ji Chang Wook said that there are still many roles that he has not done, one of which is a doctor. He wants to play a doctor and show his fans.
“Surprisingly, there are still many roles that I haven't done yet. For example, I've never played a doctor. There are many roles that I want to try and I really want to do them,” said Ji Chang Wook.
However, Ji Chang Wook also did not deny that it is very exciting to star in an action drama or movie. He is currently filming his new action drama, The Manipulated.
“It seems like my desires are always changing. But filming The Manipulated, I thought it would be fun to film an intense action drama continuously, without stopping from beginning to end,” he said.
Ji Chang Wook also admitted to feeling restless if his roles in dramas or movies do not present challenges for him. He even thinks he has acted carelessly if that happens.
“If one day I'm working on a project and I don't feel worried or feel difficult, I think I'll feel a little uncomfortable. I would feel in crisis and think, 'did I work carelessly without thinking things through?' Of course I don't think that would ever happen,” Ji Chang Wook concluded.
