A stay-at-home mum has revealed that she creates sexy photoshoots for OnlyFans while her toddler sleeps in the next room – but insists she’s just a “normal mum”.
Emily Mai, 31, from Melbourne, Australia, makes up to $250,000 a year on the site, juggling her busy work life with caring for her 15-month-old son and "couldn’t be happier" about it.
The mum will start her day by feeding her little boy (not named for privacy reasons) and making sure his needs are met, before transforming herself into a sexy temptress.
And while the former stripper has been met with negative comments from others about her career choice – including fellow mums – Emily doesn't care what people think.
The mum is raking in the cash, building a future for herself and her tot.
“I wake up, give my son breakfast and have my morning routine where I make coffee and he’ll play while I check my OnlyFans,” Emily, who has over 70,000 followers on Instagram (@itsemilymai), told Jam Press.
“I’ll wait until his nap time to create content or message my fans.
“When my son is napping, I do admin or take photos in a different room.
"But I don’t film any videos when he is in the house, I'll organise for family members to watch him when I do that.
“Once he’s awake, I’m back to parenting, doing things like cooking, play dates and when he’s asleep, I’m back working again.
“A lot of what I make goes into savings for his future.
"I’m not making all of this money to spend it on designer handbags and fine dining.
“And I’ve got so much time with my son.
"We go to his toddler activities and catch up with our mothers group or see our family, and I'm not run-down from doing 13-hour-nights at a strip club."
Emily first launched her account in 2019 but admits she didn’t take it seriously until 2020, when she fell pregnant.
She claims her mum “hated” her work at first, but as her grandson grew older, she could see the benefits of her daughter's job.
The model said: “"When I had my boy, I knew I wanted to do something where I could be around my kid, while also bringing in the same amount of money.
"My mum is really conservative and doesn’t like to talk to me about my job, she asks when I’m going to get an office job.
“But she’s seen over the years how present I’ve been with my son and the family and it’s opened her up to it.
“The rest of my family have been so great and understanding.
“When I first started OnlyFans, some of my friends definitely secretly judged me too, but they are so much more accepting now.
"Some of them have even started an account themselves!”
Emily does experience her fair share of trolls however, who she claims often turn out to be people from her past, which means she has to be “selective” with who she tells about her work.
The mum said: “I have been quite selective about which mums I've told about my work.
“I have not told any of the mums from my mothers group yet, I am unsure how they will handle that information.
"They all think I'm a stay-at-home mum!
“However, one of them found out by accident and did not take it well at all.
"She has time and time again referred to me ‘being forced to work in the sex industry’ and threatened to ‘out’ me to my community.
“I’ve had people from my past try and 'out me' to my family too."
Though Emily is now raking in the cash through OnlyFans, it's not always been a glamorous ride.
She said: “I took some days off here and there but otherwise worked through the entire pregnancy – including while I was being monitored in hospital for early labour.
"It was really tough.
“I had morning sickness almost the entire way through and had premature false labour contractions at the beginning of my third trimester.
“I had days where I barely left the bathroom because I was throwing up so much."
The model, who has held down "boring" admin jobs in the past, first started working in the adult industry seven years ago, managing strippers before deciding to become one herself.
She even continued getting up on the pole and sharing sexy photos of herself online when she fell pregnant in November 2019.
But not everyone was a fan of her growing belly, as Emily admits this saw her "lose a chunk" of followers.
Despite her job, Emily insists she is just like any other parent.
She added: “When people find out what I do for work they can't believe it because I usually wear baggy T-shirts and leggings, and look like a normal mum.
