I Had 3 varieties of the Malaysian Dish Nasi Lemak in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Nasi Lemak is my Malaysian dish. After having Nasi Lemak I visited the Chow Kit market here in Kuala Lumpur.
Nasi Lemak is fatty rice which is cooked in coconut milk along with variety of meat sides and served with cucumbers, anchovies, egg, sambal, and sometimes peanuts. If you never tried Nasi Lemak you must try it. The fragrant and fluffy rice is the best part.
The Chow Kit market is huge and you can buy many different fresh produce there. We grabbed some Salak (snake fruit) , some Soursop, and Starfruit.
Once we arrived back at our home station of Masjid Jamek we came across this Friday Market just around the corner from our hotel. This place made me extremely hungry but unfortunately I was too full to even try the food. I did see Apam Batik which is a Malaysian dessert made of peanut pancake turnover, which we got sweet corn inside but sometimes you can put egg as well.
