Leslie Powell is an LA-based artist and Billboard top charting songwriter.

Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Leslie grew up playing multiple instruments including guitar, piano, violin, viola, saxophone, and drums. She eventually left Austin to pursue songwriting in Nashville, where she fell in love with the art of storytelling. After five years in Nashville, Leslie moved to LA to continue writing and performing as an artist, writing for other artists, and creating music for TV and film. She's happy to be in the same city following her dreams alongside her brother, Glen Powell, a writer, producer, and actor.

Kicking off 2022, Leslie partnered with Kay Jewelers to start the new year off right! She reimagined "Every Kiss Begins With Kay" and turned it into a viral pop banger that accumulated over 13 billion views on Tik Tok, and was #9 on the viral Tik Tok Charts. Leslie was featured on William Black's single, "Don't Look Down," on his latest album, Pieces, which grew to become the #1 album on the iTunes Dance Charts. Her feature on 'Take Your Time', by ARTY also reached the top 10 on the Billboard dance charts, landing at #2.

What sets Leslie apart from other artists is her unique ability to write and perform across multiple genres including pop, country, acoustic, folk, hip hop, retro, soul, dark trailer music and orchestral trailer music. This has given her the tools to collaborate with other execs, artists, producers and writers in order to help bring their musical visions to life. One of her favorite projects was when she joined forces with the team at Fox Sports to create the USA theme song for the Women's World Cup and then performed it live, reaching millions of people around the US. She also collaborated with the show runner and writer of Roswell: New Mexico to write the season finale song which went on to hit #1 on the iTunes soundtrack charts.
