For the Dough:

• 230ml milk (1 cup + 3 tablespoons, make sure it’s warm, not hot)

• 80ml olive oil (1/2 cup)

• 11g active dry yeast (1 packet)

• 20g granulated sugar (1 tablespoon)

• 12g salt (1 teaspoon)

• 1 egg, separated (use the yolk for brushing)

For the Sauce:

• 1 tablespoon paprika or tomato paste

• 1 teaspoon thyme

• Black pepper to taste

• 1 tablespoon olive oil

• A little water to thin it out
