You know how they say that pulling out doesn’t always work? Well OnlyFans found this to be too true, real quick!

The subscription-based platform known for whipping out adult content came under fire recently for announcing that it would ban “sexually explicit content” from October onwards.

But this announcement was met with shock and rage and it became clear OnlyFans wasn’t going to have any fans left if the explicit content ban were allowed to go through.

So… the platform did what any “self-respecting” bloke who refuses to wear a condom would do — it pulled out.

While creators — including those in Singapore — are relieved they’re not losing the fanbases they’ve worked hard to build up on the platform, this quick decision-reversal from OnlyFans has given them something to think about in defining their relationship with the platform. Some of the creators no longer to keep things exclusive with OnlyFans and “see other people” aka start working on other platforms.
