You guys asked me to paint with my feet. I love surprises so I’m 100% yes to this idea. I delight in witnessing the unpredictable patterns emerging, colors blending and swirling together, as I slide my toes, fingers, brushes, spoons and sticks across my canvas.

The most fun aspect of this particular project was feeling the paint squish between my toes, attempting to hold a paintbrush between my toes and realizing just how tricky it is to control the paint with intention when my toes are twitching and clumsy. I basically just slid all over the place and embraced the abstract chaos.
→ This PAINTING "There's Mischief About" is an abstract art piece created with acrylic, spray paint and watercolors on a 10"x10" birch wood frame. It is for sale in my online shop: https://chawilde.com/shop/there-is-mischief-about-10x10
My feet are well loved, strong and flexible from yoga and ballet but they have a long way to go to catch up to the dexterity of my hands. I could feel the new pathways forming in my brain as I tried something so new. I laughed and healed in the play. I'm very excited to try this again. The brain is so hungry for new skills and knowledge. Progress is delicious!
If you would like to improve your relationship with your feet and cultivate more toe control, start taking my yoga classes. I often speak about how to stretch, strengthen and optimize the way you utilize your feet. To access my video library of YOGA CLASSES, join my Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/chawilde
Creation is the act of bringing two things together. I have found my greatest joy and success emerges when I am intentionally combining passions. I love music and I love painting. Put them together! I love painting and I love playing with my body and pushing the limits. Paint with the feet! I love yoga and I love music. Flow to my own music with paintings in the background! I keep choosing to unite my passions and it keeps bringing me deep joy and peace. Let's allow our parts to collaborate!
