Multinational service members from NATO Allies and partner nations culminate Saber Strike 24 with a Fire Support Coordination Exercise (FSCX) at the Suwalki Gap on April 22, 2024. The Soldiers shared classes on green tactics, ambushing, and calling for fire support, as well as introducing new communications equipment and applications to the soldiers from the allies nations.
The Suwalki corridor (also known as the Suwalki Gap) separates the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad on the Baltic Sea from Belarus, reportedly hosts thousands of Russian troops, and is soon home to permanently stationed Russian forces, including advanced fighter jets and nuclear weapons.
