Selah, Kanye West - Freestyle Diaries 04 - Video

Welcome to episode 04 of Freestyle Diaries, a series in which I challenge myself every week to freestyle to a different song!
I chose Selah because there is something about this song that moves me to the core. The character I created for this freestyle was challenging its own faith, trying to put itself above the gods. It is related to the lyrics of Kanye's No Church In The Wild: "What's a king to a God? What's a God to a non-believer, who don't believe in anything?"
They are addressing their own mortality and weaknesses as a human being yet are choosing to put themself over the power of the gods.
An interesting concept and character I enjoyed creating.
