Session 4 - XR Innovation Launchpad Program - Video

We are excited to have Gospel Ononwi, a skilled AR/VR Developer and XR instructor, leading the TikTok Effect House Track for this year's XR Innovation Launchpad Program.

Under Gospel’s expert guidance, the 100 chosen participants will get hands-on experience in designing custom TikTok AR filters and immersive experiences using their mobile devices and computers.

This session's guest speaker is Jeremy Dalton, the Head of Immersive Technologies at PwC UK. Jeremy has collaborated with organizations such as the World Economic Forum and is currently on the advisory board of Immerse UK, which supports businesses exploring immersive technologies. He will be sharing impactful use cases and applications of XR across various industries, along with future projections for immersive technologies on a global scale.

The XR Innovation Launchpad, an initiative by Immersive Tech Africa, is designed to empower emerging talents and creators with the skills they need to thrive. This 10-week hybrid training program aims to launch careers in Extended Reality (XR) technology throughout Africa. As XR becomes increasingly significant in industries ranging from education to entertainment, this program is dedicated to bridging the technical and creative skills gap in the XR field and fostering innovation across the continent.
