The Russia Question is a book talk series devoted to all things Russia, hosted by Russian program director at Fordham University (LC) Prof. Michael Ossorgin, with generous support from the Orthodox Christian Studies Center.

This episode features Dr. Hanna Stähle, author of the book _Russian Church in the Digital Era: Mediatization of Orthodoxy_.

Dr. Stähle holds a PhD in Slavic Cultural Studies (summa cum laude) from the University of Passau. During her PhD studies she was Research Fellow at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow and gathered professional experience at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace – Carnegie Center Moscow. She is the author of the book “Mediatization of Orthodoxy: Russian Church in the Digital Era” and numerous articles on the contemporary Russian Orthodox Church and media. She is currently Senior Manager at Philea – Philanthropy Europe Association. She also serves as a Board Chair of the German-Belarusian Society. Hanna Stähle speaks eight languages and lives with her husband in Brussels.
