The objective of The Zero Project (TheZeroProject.nl) is to find fresh evidence of the invention of the numeral zero. It changed the course of history, quite like the domestication of fire or the invention of the wheel did. Yet zero’s origin remains shrouded in mystery. We are embarking on an adventure. Everyone is invited to join the global expedition with expert guides from across diverse cultures and a range of specialty fields. Something that has never been attempted before. We will visit far-flung places lost in time: North and South Africa, Central America, the Middle East, South-, Southeast, and Far East Asia.
