World Naked Knitting Day 2021 - Talking Bodies, Knitting, Climate Emergency, Over A Nice Cup Of Tea - Video

World Naked Knitting Day was born as a suggestion a month ago, as another date to add to the diary, along with World Naked Hiking day and World Naked Gardening Day... After all it's such fun to get creative whilst celebrating the natural body in all its different forms. It was conjured up as a spell for knitting a culture of pride and joy to replace patriarchal, misogynist, sexualising/shaming/controlling of our bodies, whoever we are and whatever we look like. Any age, any size, any shape, any ability, any body - we're all pretty amazing and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. And most importantly of course, you can showcase your latest knitting or crochet project!

And as World naked Knitting Day 2021 is taking place at the same time as a huge 2 week rebellion about the climate emergency in London, it seemed only right to have a bit of a chat about that too.
