Am I able to step out of bed? Am I capable of walking, caring for myself, creating with my hands and eating all the nutrients I need? Am I free to walk outside in comfort and safety to observe life and beautiful things? Am I able to open my lips and speak kind words of love and offer blessings? If I can answer yes to even one of these questions I am lucky. If I can answer yes to many or all of these questions I am living the dream, the greatest life I can possibly imagine. I have all I need to enjoy myself and be fulfilled, happy and vivacious!

In this video I am practicing yoga in the courtyard of the Happy Together Villa in Seminyak, Bali. I woke up before the other humans. Rising early allows private moments in public spaces. To be alone in public spaces tingles me into precious sacred stillness. I feel myself on the brink of interruption so the meditation is never as deep. It is not for quiet depth then that I practice in open empty space, it is to feel myself in a moment of my own, a moment just for me, a moment I am not asked to share with anyone. The space is not mine and the moment is ours.
