Intuitive Morning Yoga Flow - in Sarong Poolside Villa in Canggu, Bali - Video

The snails and ants crawled beneath me as I began my first full day in Bali with this intuitive yoga flow. In a jungle beside the beach, breathing in air from a blue sky and smiling at the plumeria flowers floating beside me, I was filled with gratitude to move my body outside in a new place so full of beauty. Break free from routine, let your body naturally finds its way into poses that feel good. Do what feels good!

I’m this yoga flow, I’m practicing walking my hands and feet together, synchronized like a four legged animal. Primal movement is extremely healing for us, to break the patterns of our normal walking-sitting-upright life. Turn upside down, walk like a monkey, stretch like a dog, curl like a cat, give your body an opportunity to remember how it loves to be a wild creature.

After my morning yoga practice, I pick up my paint brushes and play with the colors I observed in the environment around me this morning. It’s exciting to see how scenery goes in and artwork flow out.

I’m adventuring and creating in Bali. Just a few days here in Indonesia and already my paintings are evolving, taking on new colors and shapes. I’m getting more geometric and repetitive. I’m sharing my new work, photos of the process and stories on my blog. → https://chawilde.com/blog
