Naked yoga and doing a naked yoga class has become the latest fitness craze around the world so much so that naked yoga is the naked news for 2024 and the latest yoga news.

So what is naked yoga? Let me explain the history, the origins, the popularity and why people do and enjoy naked yoga.

Naked yoga can be found in 11 countries around the world in 44 cities and has been around for longer than you might have first thought.

The first naked yoga class in the west was in 1919 in New York city but naked yoga dates back even earlier, would you belive before the birth of Christ?

Some 400 years before the brith of Christ it was first documented in India that Indian monks were performing naked yoga poses.

Now yoga itself originates in India some 2800 years BC, now it might be that naked yoga has been around from the very start so perhaps naked yoga has been around for nearly 5000 years!

Why do naked yoga? Well I guess there are two main reasons, the first being for the nudist community, by doing a naked yoga class it gives them another opportunity to enjoy a social event naked.

The second reason why someone might do a naked yoga class is for the health benefits for the mental health benefits. Its been estabilished that by doing a naked yoga class it can over come the illness of body dismorphia.

I mentioned you can find naked yoga classes around the world to name some, you can find a naked yoga class in Paris France, in the UK you can find naked yoga classes in Hastings and London. In Spain you can find naked yoga classes available in Barcelona and Madrid, in Germany you can find a naked yoga class in Munich.

In Belgium there is a naked yoga class in Brussels and in Switzerland you can find a naked yoga class in Zurich.

Travel further afield in the world and in Sydney Australia there is a naked yoga class available and also in Auckland New Zealand.

So as you can see naked yoga is around the world and that's just the public classes, how many people are doing naked yoga in the privacy of their own homes or gardens around the world?

By far the most popular country around the world for naked yoga is the USA, in America, I found over 40 classes in just a 5-minute search.

At the end of this naked yoga video you hear a few girls recently found around the world that enjoy doing naked yoga, all said they enjoy doing naked yoga in the privacy or their own homes.
