Naked yoga and doing naked yoga in 2024 has become the naked fitness craze for 2024 with more and more people around the world doing naked yoga classes or doing naked yoga within the privacy of their own homes.

The naked news for 2024 is that Ive come across girls from around the world enjoying naked yoga and I've asked them why they do naked yoga and they all said the same. Doing naked yoga gives them a sense of freedom and helps create a more meditative state while doing the yoga nude.

All said they do the naked yoga in the privacy of their own homes or gardens but there are plenty of naked yoga classes around the world for those wishing to take part in a naked yoga class.

Naked yoga classes can be found in 11 countries around the world in 44 cities, to name but a few you can find a naked yoga class in Paris, if you pop over to Spain you can find naked yoga classes in Barcelona, Madrid and on the Canary Islands.

In the UK you can find naked yoga classes in Hastings and in London, In Germany if you pop into Berlin you can find a naked yoga class. In Switzerland there is a naked yoga class in Zurich and in Belgium in Brussels.

Further around the world you can find a naked yoga class in Sydney Australia and in Auckland New Zealand but by far the most popular place around the world for naked yoga classes is in the USA! In just a 5 minute search I found over 40 naked yoga classes available in the USA.

Why do naked yoga? Well I guess there are two main reasons why someone would do nude yoga, the first is those within the nudist community, by taking part in a naked yoga class it gives them another opportunity to enjoy a social event naked.

The second reason for doing a naked yoga class is for the health benefits, its been established that by doing naked yoga a person suffering from body dysmorphia an illness where the individual does not like their own body can overcome the illness by taking part in a naked yoga class.

So what is the history and origins of naked yoga. When did naked yoga start and where? I guess many would think naked yoga started in the swinging sixties but they would be wrong, the first naked yoga class in the west was in 1919 in New York city in the USA.

But Naked yoga goes back even further, would you believe naked yoga predates Jesus Christ? When Alexander the Great invaded India some 400 years BC his philosophers noted coming across Indian monks known as Yogini who were doing naked yoga as part of their meditation process to find spiritual enlightenment.

Now the history and origins of yoga itself stems from India some 2800 years BC, could it not be that the same monks were performing naked yoga from the very start, perhaps naked yoga has been around for nealt 5000 years!
